I have loved to read since before I can remember. Hopefully we can share that love of books here. Enjoy!

Autumn Reading

Fall Reading List

Now that the weather is turning cooler, it’s time to start thinking about reading goals.  I’m currently behind pace to hit my goal of 50 books per year.  I am currently on my 32nd book right now, which puts me roughly 3 books behind pace.

Here’s my reading pulse:

I’m currently reading:  Inferno by Dan Brown (on my Nook)

Up Next:  Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris (library book, due date: 9/17)

Followed by:  The Princess Bride by William Morgenstern (on my Nook)

Other Potential Autumn Reads:

  • Where’d You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple (on my Nook)
  • The Art of Communication by Thich Nhat Hanh (on my Nook)
  • The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt (on my wish list)

That should honestly get me into October, where I want to spend the month focusing on some dark, horror reads.

Some ideas for October:

The Seance by John Harwood (on my Nook)

The Witch’s Daughter by Paula Brackston (on my Nook)

The Uninvited by Steven LaChance (on my bookshelf)

The Night Film by Marisha Pessl (on my wish list)

Just some ideas I’m kicking around.  What are your reading goals?  How are you measuring up to them?  What are you reading this autumn?  Please join the conversation/leave a comment with your reading stats and plans.  :)
